Forget about everyday drawing of the eyebrows and discover a new dimension of your face. Powder Brows technique is incredibly popular because it creates truly beautiful eyebrows that look completely natural.
Micropigmentation as gateway to a natural look
Micropigmentation is a really »big word« for a procedure where with the help of a micro needle we insert pigment into the superficial layer of the skin with the intent to beautify and emphasize the natural face features. It is an ideal solution for those who wish to be well kept in every moment or to remove certain imperfections, irregularities on their faces. The technique of such drawing in combination with shading in the background, gives the eyebrows a beautiful and soft shape up to a year and a half. The option of combining two or three shades of pigment makes the eyebrows look even more realistic and natural.
It is also a perfect solution for those who are unable to use make-up due to certain allergies or skin problems. After the treatment, you won’t need to apply and remove make-up on a daily basis, smeared make-up will become a thing of the past and you will always look younger, fresher due to feeling good in your skin, emanating your natural beauty.
What to expect after the treatment?
With the insertion of pigment there is an injury of the top layer of the skin, similar to when getting a tattoo. For that reason, two to three days after the treatment a slight swelling of the spot where micropigmentation has been carried out is to be expected. Some customers say that they could feel a mild itchiness.
No, your eyebrows won’t be that dark. Sometimes I receive a call from a frightened customer who has forgotten about directions and instructions. It is normal that in the healing process 30% of pigmentation dye is lost. Immediately after the treatment the eyebrows can seem darker, however they will start to look more natural in 6 days. After 10 days they should already reach their natural look. The whole process lasts up to 30 days so it is important to be patient.
There will also be a slight swelling that will be difficult to notice due to the thickness of the skin. A few days after the treatment it will disappear with the help of regular application of the prescribed cream and on the day of correction, we take care of an even more beautiful look.
What is the care for after the treatment?
DAY 1: Before we touch the eyebrows, the hands need to be thoroughly washed, preferably with antibacterial soap. We gently clean the eyebrows with a cotton wool soaked into lukewarm water. A very thin layer of cream which is gifted to the customers after the treatment is applied on a clean surface.
DAYS 2-7: Eyebrows are moisturized with cream at least twice, preferably three times a day so that we maintain our skin as moisturized and elastic as possible. Only a thin layer of cream is applied and we mustn’t get carried away with the amount of cream. The skin should be moistened, not greased.
It is important not to expose the eyebrows to direct sunlight or UV light. If there is no way to avoid the sun, we should use a protective cover. The first 7 days you should avoid make-up, swimming, tanning and saunas, and for the first 5 days also sport activities where you perspire a lot. If you do use make-up, under no circumstances should you apply it on the micropigmentation area.
Healing instructions are not just an accessory and they greatly affect how long the pigmentation will be preserved.
What is it that affects the final result?
Just as with every procedure, here also exist certain deviations when it comes to the state and type of the skin. Inserted pigment can be less durable in women who are undergoing certain hormonal therapies, in those with oily and problematic skin, and in those who are frequently exposed to sunlight, UV light or perform skin lightening. Aggressive treatments such as dermabrasion, chemical gasses, depilation and eyebrow shaving… also contribute to a worse sustenance of pigment. Such treatments remove the superficial layer of the skin and shorten the sustenance of the pigment.
